The Importance of Psychedelic Harm Reduction
Laying the foundations, we define the term “psychedelic harm reduction” and demonstrate its importance through the story of a trip gone awry. We also define and demystify “bad trips.”

Guidelines for Tripping
Here we review the basic elements of creating a safe, positive trip experience and minimizing the risk of harm. Topics covered include intention, set, and setting; substance choice, purity, dose, and orientation; drug-drug interactions; company; and the infamous “flight instructions.”
- 35 Minutes
Trip Sitting Basics
An introduction to the core principles of supporting another individual during their psychedelic experience. We consider the case of someone having a difficult time on LSD, review trip sitting ethics, and offer suggestions for sitter self care.
- 20 Minutes
Integration & Closing
The basics for making the most out of a psychedelic experience, whether it was challenging, illuminating, blissful, or other. After a quick recap of the preceding modules, we take a look at some other handy resources for further reading and learning.
